The Site Supervisor for Marble and Granite is responsible for overseeing the installation and finishing of marble and granite surfaces at construction sites. This role involves managing a team of installers, coordinating with clients and other contractors, ensuring quality control, and adhering to project timelines and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:

- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand the scope of work.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Schedule and oversee the delivery of materials and equipment to the job site.
- Supervise and lead a team of installers, ensuring they are trained and equipped to perform their tasks efficiently.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, monitoring their performance and productivity.
- Conduct regular site meetings to address any issues, provide updates, and plan next steps.
- Inspect marble and granite installations for accuracy, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
- Ensure that all installations meet the company’s quality standards and client expectations.
- Address any defects or issues promptly, coordinating repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures on the job site.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and meetings to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensure all team members use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Provide regular updates to clients and project managers on project progress and any potential delays.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project managers and other relevant parties.
- Document any incidents, accidents, or delays and communicate them promptly to the project manager.
- Identify potential issues or challenges early and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site problems that arise, ensuring mínimal disruption to the project schedule.

Qualifications:
**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a site supervisor or similar role in the marble and granite industry.
- Extensive knowledge of marble and granite installation techniques and best practices.
- Experience managing teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders on construction projects.

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools is a plus.
