**Job Title: Safety Officer**

Location: Ras Al Khaimah, Al Hamra Free Zone, UAE

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure adherence to safety protocols throughout all phases of construction projects.
- Provide safety training to employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on safe work practices, equipment operation, and emergency procedures.
- Conduct incident investigations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, safety regulations, and best practices, and communicate relevant information to the team.
- Assist in the procurement and maintenance of safety equipment and personal protective gear.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-4 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer in the UAE, preferably within the construction industry focusing on facade works, curtain walls, glass, aluminum, and steel erection..
- In-depth knowledge of UAE safety regulations, codes, and standards related to construction.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively train and communicate safety procedures to diverse teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software is an advantage.
- Any Certifications will be preferred.
