Lab Chemist

**Purpose of the Position**:
To ensure that the testing of raw materials (base oils and additives), empty packaging materials and finished products is carried out as per the laid down quality standards. To conduct various tests as per the standard test methods, applicable in the laboratory and also as per the client requirements. To maintain the client confidentiality and follow the company's ethical practices while on job.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for inspection, testing and compliance of raw materials like base oils, Additives and dyes etc. using standard procedures
- Responsible for inventory control of laboratory chemicals and utilities
- Responsible for testing customer complaint samples, third party samples and used oil Samples.
- Responsible for making test report for third party/customer samples.
- Identification of Non-conformance/Deviation of results and carry out CA/PA
- To assist QM for implementation and maintenance of laboratory management system.
- Responsible for maintenance of Lab register, ISO, and HSE documentation in the laboratory
- Responsible for calibration of laboratory instrument as per the schedule
- Responsible for maintenance schedule of laboratory instruments
- Responsible for collection of test data for various laboratory test for calculation of
- Uncertainty, checking for the method compliance, checking the validation of instrument by analyzing CRM, standards, QC samples etc.
- Responsible for monitoring and analyzing environmental conditions like temperature, humidity, pressure etc.
- Responsible for disposal of laboratory wastes
- Any other duties instructed by Management and commensurate with the accountabilities of the post.

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jebel Ali: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
