Our Company is Urgently looking for a LIFEGUARD with license approved by the Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC).

Job description:
The Lifeguard position will be responsible for monitoring the well-being of guests both in and out of the water. Responsible for enforcing established rules, complying with EIAC regulations and always maintain a professional image.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be physically fit with the capability to perform CPR, rescue etc.

With Pool Lifeguard License & Certificates accredited by Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC).

Awareness of health and safety procedures.

Alertness and a sense of responsibility.

Ability to remain calm and act appropriately in an emergency.

Must have strong communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure adequate number of safety equipment for persons using the swimming pool will be provided.

Ensure resuscitation equipment using ordinary air will be provided to all commercial and public pools.

Trained and qualified lifeguard will be deployed and knowledgeable of using resuscitation equipment and techniques for life saving.

Ensure life ring and lift are adjacent to pools always.

Responsible to ensure that swimming pool maintenance company carry out the maintenance of the swimming pool & the filtration and disinfectant system.

Ensure daily provision for water quality for taking samples to check chlorine, pH and temperature levels.

Ensure that the deck is cleaned every hour by the cleaning crew. Any misuse will be reported to site management and the client.

Assurance of swimming pool secures and locked (where feasible) when not in use.

Swimming pool signboards guide lines should be adhered to by all users which in turn must be ensured by lifeguard and security on site.

Must have strong customer service skills and ability to engage with customers.

Provide instructions to swimmers

Perform rescues when required.

Must have the ability to stand long periods of time

Protect and ensure customer safety and enforce safety regulations at all times.
