**Description**:
**I&C SUPERVISOR FOR **NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS** - **Abu Dhabi** - **4-month Contract - Extendable** - **R123011,13 to R133707,75**

Barakah Nuclear power plant seeks 2x I&C Supervisors. For an outage for a 4-month Contract (Extendable) you will work 08 hours, 06 days a week (Pre outage will be between 40 to 48 hours per week as per clients’ requirements & 72 Hours per week (Over the Outage period). The first contract will be for the month of July 23, deployment will be for four to five months depending on the work requirement and then you will be called back again for the next outage in Jan 2024.
- OT is applicable after 48 Hours
- Single status contract
- Food, accommodation, and transport provided by the company.
- Basic salary will contribute 60% of the salary, 30% Site allowance, 10% Shift allowance
- Overtime rate is applicable on basic.
- Duration 4 months, extendable.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in I&C Engineering discipline or equivalent

**Minimum Experience**:

- 2 years’ minimum work experience in Nuclear Power Plant Outage Environment and 1-year min supervision. Mainly in general maintenance of equipment etc. Primary site and secondary side I & C activities

**The scope covered but was not limited to the following**:

- Replacement of switches solenoids, manifolds, positioners, sensors and indicators Corrective maintenance activities on all instruments Troubleshooting activities Replacement of components due to failures or degradation Performing control valve diagnostics and adjustments

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Guide the execution of a defined scope of work activities to increase reliability and performance, reduce operating and maintenance costs, and maintain compliance with plant design basis and regulatory requirements.
- Provide high technical expertise and guide the identification, investigation, and resolution of off-normal equipment conditions to ensure safe plant operations and preserve equipment design margins.
- Provide highly experienced technical support and guidance during complex troubleshooting activities to facilitate the successful completion
- Control and guide support in developing major equipment maintenance windows to assist Shutdown Management.
- Provide appropriate prioritization to work to ensure optimization of maintenance resources in component work and report results to the component engineering management.
- Deliver toolbox talks and pre-job briefs, safety connects and specific safety-related messages.
- To plan, organize and execute the work within the defined scope to achieve the required level of performance and productivity
- Ensure the quality standards are achieved by implementing quality procedures advising section/quality engineers of problems with procedures and standards of workmanship and cooperation in the resolution.
- To handle effectively all first-line disciplinary, grievance and performance management issues.
- Demonstrate both leadership qualities and sound knowledge and understanding of mechanical fitting activities and processes. Demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures.

**Staff Training and Qualification**:

- Provide training feedback on program effectiveness with an evaluation of operator performance to enhance training and qualification program quality.

**Reporting**:

- To provide suitable updates on work progress
