Job Title: Floral Graphic Designer - Flower Shop & Events based in Sharjah

Job Description: A floral graphic designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and innovative designs for floral arrangements, bouquets, and related products. This role combines the creativity of graphic design with a deep understanding of floral design principles and techniques. The floral graphic designer collaborates with clients, floral designers, and marketing teams to develop designs that meet the desired aesthetic and brand requirements

**Responsibilities**:

- Floral arrangement design: Design unique floral arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces, and floral products, taking seasonal themes, color schemes, and composition into account.
- To create cohesive and visually appealing products, incorporate graphic design elements such as typography, illustrations, patterns, and textures.
- Collaborate with clients: Work closely with clients, including event planners, individuals, and businesses, to understand their vision, requirements, and budget for floral designs.
- Offer creative ideas and suggestions while incorporating client preferences
- Stay updated on design trends: Research and stay informed about the latest design trends in the floral and graphic design industries. Incorporate current trends and adapt them to fit clients' needs.
- Prepare design proposals: Create design proposals and presentations to showcase concepts, color palettes, and design ideas to clients. Effectively communicate design choices and explain how they align with the client's objectives
- Maintain design consistency: Ensure consistency in design elements across various floral products, such as event decor, packaging, marketing collateral, and online platforms, to maintain a cohesive brand image
- Collaborate with floral design teams: Work closely with floral designers and other team members to understand their requirements and collaborate on projects that require a combination of floral and graphic design expertise
- Manage production and printing: Coordinate with production teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of designs. Provide specifications and guidelines for printing, including selecting appropriate materials and finishes.
- Adhere to brand guidelines: Follow established brand guidelines and design standards to maintain consistency and brand integrity in all floral graphic design work.
- Maintain design files and documentation: Organize and maintain design files, including digital assets, sketches, and reference materials. Keep accurate records of design projects, including revisions and final versions

**Requirements**:

- Education and experience: A degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in floral design or a strong understanding of floral aesthetics is highly beneficial
- Graphic design skills: Proficient in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in layout, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Floral design knowledge: Familiarity with floral design principles, including flower types, colors, textures, and seasonal availability. Knowledge of different floral arrangements, styles, and techniques is a plus.
- Creativity and attention to detail: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative designs that align with clients' needs and brand aesthetics. Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy in design execution.
- Communication and collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, floral designers, and cross-functional teams. Ability to present and explain design concepts clearly and professionally.
- Time management and multitasking: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability: Willingness to embrace feedback and make necessary revisions to designs. Adaptability to work with evolving design requirements and meet changing client preferences.
