As a Plant Manager, you're to perform daily operations of plant to ensure reliability and consistency of production line. You're to contribute to the development of a business plan for the business unit as a whole. You're to develops a strategic plan for the plant unit based upon the agreed strategic plan as a whole.
**As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for**:
- Ensuring continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards.
- Conducting frequent interactions on strategic level due to complex planning activities and/or complex long-term sales processes with high degrees of customization.
- Handling very complex manufacturing processes.
- Managing direct staff on their selection, training and development of plant supervisory and administrative roles
- Leading a big manufacturing unit. Unit consistent of several departments and/or dispersed manufacturing departments.
**Fuel your passion**
**To be successful in this role you will**:
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with relevant experience.
- Have +10 years experience in Plant leadership position
- Proven track record of success in implementing Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Have knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, variable cost productivity, and fulfillment metrics, quality systems, cost systems, and fulfillment metrics, and procedure
- Have knowledge of manufacturing API equipment
- Have good oral and written communication skills.
- Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Have experience in expanding plant sites preferred
- Have demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Have demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Have ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Have established project management skills.
