Incinerator Operator

The Incinerator Operator is responsible for executing operational tasks within the waste management plant while ensuring compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards and Business Continuity Management (BCM) principles. The role involves handling equipment, monitoring processes, and conducting operations in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- QHSE Compliance:Adhere to QHSE policies, regulations, and standards during plant operations,prioritizing safety, environmental responsibility, and compliance.
- Operational Tasks: Operate and monitor equipment and machinery to ensure efficient waste treatment processes while following safety guidelines and QHSE protocols.
- Process Monitoring: Monitor waste treatment processes, assessing parameters, and taking necessary actions to maintain compliance with operational and QHSE requirements.
- Emergency Response: Familiarize oneself with emergency response procedures and protocols,actively participating in drills and actions to ensure safety during critical situations.
- Waste Handling: Handle medical and hazardous waste according to QHSE guidelines, ensuring proper segregation, handling, and disposal practices.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of plant equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.

Accountabilities:

- QHSE Compliance and Safety Accountability: Be accountable for strictly adhering to QHSE policies and safety guidelines, promoting a safe work environment and responsible waste management practices.
- Operational Efficiency Accountability: Be accountable for efficiently executing operational tasks, following approved processes while prioritizing compliance with QHSE and operational standards.
