Housekeeping Supervisor

Job is based in _**Liwa, Abu Dhabi**_
- To ensure maximum efficiency in performance of cabins/Airstreams and public area attendants.
- To acquire and maintain immaculate well supplied cabins/Airstreams, as well as clean surrounding public areas.
- To ensure cleanliness and maintenance of cabins/Airstreams and surrounding to be kept up to the required Mawarid hotel & hospitality standards
- Must have a very good knowledge of guest service and prperty procedures.
- Housekeeping supervisor has to have pleasant personality, His / Her appearance and conduct has to be an example to the all staff members of Housekeeping Dpt. He / She has to train consistently and good communication with supervisors, subordinates and colleagues is absolutely necessary, to initiate and maintain effective and positive results within the Housekeeping Department.
- Assign Housekeeping staff and ensure that every staff member is working their assigned areas.
- Responsible to check that all employees under Him / Her supervision have the necessary equipment to perform their task and to supervise proper care and use of equipment property liabilities.
- Prepares schedules as requested, and in accordance with forecasted occupancy
- Keeps self updated on available cabins, including maintenance and early/late check-ins and check-outs, and communicates information to Room Attendants
- Supervises the daily activities of the housekeeping staff
- Conducts daily and inspections of the guest rooms, and other housekeeping areas as requested by the Head Of Housekeeping.
- Supervises all rotational and special cleaning programmes.
- Follow up hotel linen/guest laundry/uniforms collection and delivery
- Prepared schedule for out - sourced public area attendants and follow up.
- Handles “Lost and Found” on a daily basis
- Inspect “in house” or “stay over” rooms.
- Fills out maintenance orders as needed.
- Checks linen closets and carts for cleanliness and supplies.
- Helps the Head of Housekeeping keep track of uniforms for employees
- Checks, equips and stocks VIP rooms according to instruction.
- Knows all housekeeping procedures to be a resource when needed.
- Confers closely with the Head of Housekeeping, and takes every opportunity to become familiar with all aspects of the position in order to fill in where needed.
- Is aware of departmental costs; takes action to control labour, amenities and supply costs.
- To ensure read and sign the housekeeping logbook in every day.
- To ensure to communicate all relevant information’s, concerning, status of rooms and lost and found items to evening supervisor before end of the shift.
- Keeps Head of Housekeeping aware and updated.

**Salary**: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

**Education**:
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Room Attendant: 8 years (required)
- Housekeeping Supervisor: 4 years (required)
- 4-5 Star hotel: 6 years (required)
