We're seeking someone with strong problem-solving skills, experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and the ability to read technical drawings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform overhauling of various mechanical equipment as assigned, ensuring all work adheres to the company's standards.
- Assist the Maintenance and Mechanical Supervisor in providing timely and efficient mechanical engineering services to ensure optimal equipment performance, reduced downtime, and extended asset life.
- Execute breakdown maintenance tasks, including repairs, fabrication, and welding jobs as required.
- Overhaul and repair a wide range of mechanical items, including turbines, engines, compressors, winches, and valves, following established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct overhauling and calibration of relevant equipment, including safety and relief valves, PV valves, steel chock bedding, valve seat grinding, heat exchanger re-tubing, plate cooler overhaul, and high-pressure washing of engine parts. This also includes repair of air hoists, hydraulic pumps, jacks, and rigging items.
- Use precision calibration tools to calibrate machinery parts as required.
- Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, foremen, supervisors, and management to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Act as Foreman when required or appointed for specific projects, overseeing the progress and ensuring targets are met.
- Participate in department-required training and skill development programs to ensure up-to-date knowledge of industry practices.
- Ensure materials meet quality standards before use, and report any damages or defects promptly.
- Work efficiently within designated timelines to meet departmental goals and minimize operational delays.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety measures in all work areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow daily operational procedures related to the role to ensure consistent productivity and adherence to standards.

**Experience / Qualifications & Skills**:

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Completed I.T.I. or relevant industrial/vocational training, with at least two years of apprenticeship experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Proven skills in welding and fabrication, with a focus on fitting and fabrication techniques.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- **Preferred nationalities: Nepal and Bangladesh.**
