Advise employees on in-house groups, policy changes, or other pertinent information. Ensure consistency in services provided across providers. Provide massage services to guests using props and/or products. Promote, sell, and answer questions about spa/salon services. Ensure guest comfort and safety throughout service. Maintain cleanliness of tools, workstation, and/or treatment room throughout shift, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift. Check computer for updates and changes to schedule and inform providers of last-minute changes. Complete requisitions, stock, organize, and dispense products and supplies. Inspect work areas and tools/equipment to ensure conformance to company standards. Handle inappropriate guest behavior by stopping service and informing supervisor/manager. Maintain current licensure in service area.

Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, counseling, and motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

To provide professional management of the Health Club and Spa with overall responsibility for the financial performance of the department, its business strategy and operational standards, whilst providing a safe and clean leisure environment for both members and guests. To ensure standards of service and product are in line with the brand.

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**

**Experience**:

- Qualified beauty Therapist.
- Minimum 2 years Spa experience.
- Supervisory experience of a therapist team.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES**
- The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position: _

**Financial Performance**
- To deliver the Spa revenue and profit targets
- To deliver the key performance metrics.e.g. Therapist utilization, room occupancy,
retail % of sales, labour %, income per hour
- Be responsible for the accuracy of all Spa performance reporting and P&L data
- Manage all costs within the business to maximize profit and sales conversion
- Maximise Spa revenue and profit by delivering quality products and service
- Manage stock security and minimize loss via stock management systems, stock requisition procedures and stock count

**Operational Standards**
- Implement and maintain controls and procedures to ensure the highest standards, efficiencies and professional operations are in place within the Spa
- Deliver the recognised Marriott Spa journey for all clients
- Effectively manage the Therapist team and the treatment range offered by the Spa
- Maintain data integrity of electronic stock control system, point of sale and spa scheduling systems
- Log and track all member comments, providing timely responses to all comments
- Conduct all Marriott Spa audits and check lists
- Prepare reports and provide performance information
- Attend all Hotel meetings as required

**Sales & Marketing**
- Create and deliver an effective sales and marketing calendar for the year, broken down into key promotional activities by month
- Utilise targets and commission structures to increase sales and profit
- Develop the Treatment range offered by the Spa, ensuring that it is relevant and contemporary to the needs of the client

**Training & Development**
- Ensure all Therapists are trained effectively to meet the required standards of the H&B industry, inclusive of hotel training requirements including Spa Passports to Success.
- Develop
