**About the job**
- Quantity Takeoff: Conduct a comprehensive and accurate measurement of quantities for all relevant materials, equipment, and resources required for the project.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates based on the quantity takeoff, including material costs, labor costs, equipment costs, and any other relevant expenses.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process, including regular cost reporting, tracking of variations and change orders, and ensuring adherence to the approved budget.
- Tender Documentation: Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and other necessary documentation for the procurement process and advise on a procurement strategy.
- Procurement Support: Provide support in the evaluation of bids and tenders, including analyzing contractor proposals, conducting value engineering exercises, and recommending the most cost-effective options.
- Value Engineering: Collaborate with the project team to identify value engineering opportunities and alternative solutions that can optimize project costs without compromising quality or functionality.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and uncertainties related to costs and provide recommendations to mitigate these risks effectively.
- Final Account Preparation: Prepare and review the final accounts, including the assessment of variations, additional works, and any other contractual claims.
- Project Reporting: Provide regular reports on the project's financial status, including cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and any other relevant financial information.
- Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered.

**Requirements**:

- Previous working experience as a QS for minimum 5 year in construction Fit - Out
- Proven experience as a QS in the fit-out or construction industry.
- Construction estimating or finance experienced.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
- Networking abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
