**Associate Producer, Programming**

The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking an experienced Associate Producer for our Programming team in our Dubai Bureau in UAE. MBN is a non-profit, multimedia broadcaster that provides news and information to audiences in the Middle East and North Africa through television, radio and digital properties in support of US diplomacy.

Associate Producer is responsible to assist in all areas of production, from editorial decisions, pre-production through post-production of programs, package elements, live events, and features and long form films.

**The primary duties and responsibilities of the Associate Producer, Include, but are not limited to**:

- Assisting in defining, writing and producing shows stories and report information to audience.
- Assisting Producers to determine show’s topics along with stories and features.
- Creating and maintaining Shooting and interview schedules.
- Managing the flow of assets and information between production team and internal company team members.
- Researching and creating lower thirds and graphics, Prepares traffic and usage reports on an as-needed basis.
- Reviewing segments of show together and edits sound bites, interviews and what he/she is assigned to.
- Reviewing edited video content for the shows and/or does it him/herself.
- Writing headlines and captions and creating photos to accompany videos as assigned by the producer of the show
- Bachelor Degree in Journalism or Communication
- 4 years TV experience in a media production environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills ,exceptionally well organized, self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Excellent Arabic written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to edit a high volume of content in a timely manner.
- Experience using, photo and video editing software and excellent knowledge of Microsoft office is preferred.
- Proficient with operating Systems
