**About The Role**
- Ensures professional and consistent Spa services according to the Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) assessment the global market leader in quality assurance assessments and benchmarking analysis for the luxury hospitality industry.
- Ensuring the Spa completely complies with all required standards as specified and mandated by the leading Quality Assurance assessment.
- Conducts the daily cleaning, replenishing, and collection of all Spa-related items.
- Delivering a high standard of cleanliness of the facility and supporting services to all guests.
- Support the Spa team to drive revenue daily to ensure daily, monthly & yearly targets are met and exceeded.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Supply the guests with the amenities while monitoring the assignment, standard set-up, and maintenance of locker, linens, and wet areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and report deficiencies of any equipment.
- Maintain the facility in peak sanitary condition at all times.
- Maintain wet areas/locker rooms in a tidy manner.
- Check and clean all areas of the Spa area including outside areas when needed.
- Maintain toiletries in locker/shower cubicles and other room vanities.
- Maintain linen inventory to and from laundry on a scheduled basis.
- Direct guests to appointments and assist them in every way possible
- Assist guests with the use of the sauna, steam, and all the other Spa facilities
- Understand and be able to share information about all spa services.
- Able to answer telephone inquiries, make bookings, and receive guests in the Spa.
- Knowledgeable about all Spa retail and professional items.
- Ensure stocking of all spa amenities and toiletries.
- Adheres to the hotel’s policy relating to fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
- Achieves customers’ expectations and department performance targets.
- Holds impeccable personal grooming as per The Bab Al Shams Desert Resort Standards.
- Welcomes the guests/clients to the Spa and engages them in conversation to determine the services that they need.
- Work in close coordination with the rest of the Spa team.
- Explain the massage procedure and provide information about products used during treatments.
- Performs professional services according to the LQA Standards with attention to detail and in a prompt timely manner.
- Advises guests of Spa service programs, treatments, and products available at the SPA including retail.
- Assists in promoting Spa & body retail products to guests and offers full product knowledge.
- Ensures all treatment rooms are fully set up before beginning treatment according to set standards and procedures.
- Communicate with all related internal departments any guest-related matters, products or equipment needs, technical service requests, etc.
- Upholds the standards of hygiene and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular training and Spa meetings.
- Responsible for monitoring all Spa related facilities and processes including service standards and keeping the Senior Therapist updated on any issues that may affect the smooth operation of the Spa.
- Reports to Supervisor unusual incidents, complaints, unauthorized persons, missing or damaged hotel property, and lost and found items.
- Participates in the multi-skills philosophy of the department.
- Responds to any changes in spa function as indicated by the company.
- Communicates effectively and responds well, to questions and requests.
- Works in a team, i.e. caring about other team members and different nationalities.
- Assist other departments when requested to.

**Experience & Educational Requirements**
- Certificate holder or equivalent qualification
- 3 years in a similar position in a five-star hotel.
- Physically fit for the position.
- Knowledge in micros Microsoft Office Word/excel/power point.
- Time management.
- Leadership / People management.
- Good communication skills, (written and verbal)
