**Job description**

**Job Purpose**:
A Consultant Interventional Radiologist performs mínimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. Responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, including vascular diseases, cancers, and other medical disorders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform procedures according to the list of core privileges set by the hospital
- Perform mínimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Explain procedures and risks to patients and their families.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in interventional radiology.
- Supervise and train junior medical staff and radiology technicians.
- Perform emergency interventions as required.
- Provide expert opinions and second opinions on complex cases.
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Medical degree from a recognized institution, with specialization in Interventional Radiology.
- **Western board certification** (e.g., American Board, FRCS, or equivalent).
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in Interventional Radiology, with a proven track record of clinical excellence and leadership.
- Previous experience in a senior leadership role in a hospital setting is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Fluency in English
