Job Description: Insurance Coordinator (Dental Insurance)

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate all insurance-related activities within the dental clinic.
- Verify patients' insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments.
- Communicate with insurance providers in the UAE to obtain accurate and up-to-date insurance information.
- Submit insurance claims electronically or by mail, ensuring accuracy and completeness according to UAE regulations.
- Monitor and track insurance claims specific to the UAE to ensure timely processing and reimbursement.
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies within the UAE insurance framework.
- Collaborate with dental staff to obtain all necessary documentation for insurance claims compliant with UAE requirements.
- Educate patients on their insurance coverage, benefits, and any out-of-pocket expenses within the UAE context.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing insurance-related inquiries and concerns.
- Stay updated on changes in UAE insurance regulations, policies, and billing codes specific to the dental industry.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance, particularly within a clinic setting in the UAE.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance procedures, guidelines, and billing practices specific to the UAE.
- Proficient in using insurance billing software and electronic claim submission systems compliant with UAE standards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling insurance-related tasks within the UAE context.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with patients and insurance providers effectively within the UAE cultural norms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is preferred.
- High level of professionalism and integrity in handling sensitive patient information within the UAE legal framework.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Insurance coordination in the UAE: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English fluently (required)
