As a Chief Editor at our media publishing house, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing content strategies to drive engagement, expand our audience reach, and enhance our brand presence. You will lead a team of content creators and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality, compelling content across multiple platforms including SME, banking, hospitality, and technology. This role requires a creative and strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of media trends and audience preferences.
**Responsibilities**:
Content Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with the organization's goals, target audience, and market trends.
Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of content creators, including writers, editors, designers, and multimedia specialists, fostering a creative and collaborative work environment.
Content Creation: Oversee the creation of various content types, including articles, videos, and social media posts, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, relevance, and accuracy with the different verticals of SME, banking, hospitality, and technology.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, support, content creation, distribution, digital marketing, and product development, to ensure content alignment with overall business objectives and to support promotional campaigns and events.
Maintain partnership with media, PR agencies and vendors.
Studio lead experience will be an added advantage with televisions and digital marketing campaigns, especially commercial media and channels.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, media studies, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience 10-15 years in content creation, editor in chief, or a similar role in a media publishing environment in SME, banking, hospitality, and technology
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Passion for media, publishing, and staying informed about current affairs and popular culture.
Good to have UAE Driving License

- Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
