**Job Title: Occupational Therapist**

**Job Overview**:
As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will work with individuals of all ages to promote health and well-being through meaningful activities and occupations. Your primary responsibility will be to assess clients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement interventions to help them achieve their goals. You will collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to enhance independence, productivity, and quality of life.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Assessment**: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' strengths, limitations, and needs related to activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), sensory processing, motor skills, cognition, and psychosocial functioning.

2. **Treatment Planning**: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client goals, and evidence-based practice. Establish short-term and long-term goals to address clients' functional deficits and maximize their independence.

3. **Intervention**: Implement therapeutic interventions to improve clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning. Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities, including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment training, sensory integration therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, and behavioral interventions.

4. **Education and Training**: Provide education and training to clients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals on strategies to enhance independence, safety, and participation in daily activities. Offer guidance on home modifications, assistive devices, and adaptive techniques to support clients' functional abilities.

5. **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

6. **Collaboration**: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care coordination and holistic treatment planning.

7. **Advocacy**: Advocate for clients' rights and access to occupational therapy services within healthcare settings, schools, community organizations, and government agencies. Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about the role and benefits of occupational therapy.

8. **Professional Development**: Stay informed about current trends, research findings, and best practices in occupational therapy. Participate in continuing education activities, workshops, conferences, and professional organizations to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing occupational therapy practice.
- Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, and inclusion in service delivery.
- Proficiency in using assessment tools, electronic health records (EHR), and assistive technology.
- Willingness to adhere to professional standards of practice and maintain confidentiality of client information.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry therapeutic equipment and assistive devices.
- Mobility to travel between different work settings, such as hospitals, clinics, schools, and community centers.
- Stamina to withstand prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and performing therapeutic activities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
