We are currently seeking an experienced ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Draughtsman to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As an ELV Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and documentation for ELV systems in coordination with design engineers and project managers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop detailed drawings, schematics, and layouts for ELV systems using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
- Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and requirements to produce accurate and comprehensive draughting deliverables.
- Collaborate with design engineers and project managers to ensure that draughting work meets project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
- Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and installation plans for various ELV systems, including structured cabling, security, communication, and audiovisual systems.
- Incorporate design changes, modifications, and revisions into existing drawings as directed by the project team.
- Coordinate with other trades and disciplines to ensure proper integration of ELV systems into overall building designs and construction plans.
- Review and verify technical data, equipment specifications, and material requirements for draughting purposes.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of draughting files, drawings, and project records.
- Assist in preparing technical submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and other project documentation as required.
- Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and technological advancements in ELV system draughting.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or equivalent certification in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as an ELV Draughtsman, preferably in the UAE or Gulf region.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other draughting software commonly used in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of ELV systems, components, and installation methods.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and architectural plans.
- Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy and attention to detail in draughting work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards related to ELV systems in Abu Dhabi or the UAE is preferred.
