A Contract and Commercial Officer typically handles a wide range of tasks related to contracts, procurement, and commercial activities within an organization.

**1. Contract Management**:

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents with clients, vendors, suppliers, and partners.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and regulations in the UAE.
- Manage contract lifecycle from initiation through execution, including amendments, renewals, and terminations.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any deviations or disputes promptly.

**2. Procurement**:

- Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor selection, and evaluation, in line with organizational needs and budgetary constraints.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost-effectiveness, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service levels.
- Maintain supplier relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure alignment with business objectives.

**3. Commercial Operations**:

- Support commercial operations by analyzing market trends, identifying business opportunities, and assessing competitive landscapes.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop pricing strategies, proposals, and contracts that maximize revenue and profitability.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and margins, and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of commercial policies, procedures, and best practices.

**4. Compliance and Risk Management**:

- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing contracts, procurement, and commercial activities in the UAE.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts, procurement processes, and commercial operations.
- Implement controls and procedures to minimize exposure to legal, financial, and operational risks.

**5. Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of contracts, procurement activities, and commercial transactions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and analysis to communicate key metrics, trends, and insights to stakeholders.
- Provide support and documentation for audits, legal inquiries, and regulatory reviews as needed.

**6. Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, operations, and project management teams, to ensure alignment of contract and commercial activities with organizational objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Commerce, Law, or a related field. Master's degree.
- Proven experience in contract management or commercial roles, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and procurement best practices.
**- A good knowledge of Contract submission/ claims/ Basic planning etc.**
**- A must have a background of Swimming pool & Water features.**
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and contract management software.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
