**Job Purpose**:Mentor, coach, and oversee the Operations Developees and drive their development as Nuclear Operator professionals.
Perform first line supervisory duties as assigned by Operations management.

**Activity: Management and Support.**
- Reinforce Operations management expectations and promote nuclear safety as the overriding priority in all
activities to ensure a clear focus for developees.
- Assist Operations management with staffing, scheduling, planning, training (classroom material, and coordination
of training schedules) and qualification of BNPP operators to ensure that Operations department requirements are
met.
- Ensure Operations Department plans, programs, and activities are conducted in accordance with all nuclear
regulations as required by FANR and other relevant regulatory authorities as well as Nawah policy requirements todevelop high quality operators.
- Assist in the development and establishment of draft regulations, policies, processes, procedures, programs, and
training materials to support developee training and qualifications.
- Provide assistance/interface with supporting Nawah departments, external consultants, and contractors to support
the Operations Department needs.
- Provide support to Licensing Department on regulatory matters to ensure an appropriate Operations focus.
- Support the Emergency Response Organization with technical expertise and operational experience to ensure
compliance with operational requirements.
- Provide oversight of the Operations developees and Energy Pioneers while in the training pipeline to address any
developmental needs they may have.

**Activity: Outage and Emergency Response Organization (ERO) Support**.
- Support outage and/or the ERO, as assigned, to ensure safe, reliable and continued operations; this may require
shift work/off hours support.

**Activity: Operational Planning.**
- Provide input into the development of the Department's systems and processes, as well develop and implement
the Section's procedures, identifying opportunities for the continuous improvement of practices to increase
productivity and operational efficiency.
- Monitor, control and report Operational and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPls) related to the Section, to
track performance and recommend corrective or mitigating actions.
- Ensure that all relative reports are prepared timely and accurately, to meet the Section's requirements and
standards

**Activity: Health and Safety and Security**
- Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls
across the Division/DepartmenUSection by the delivery of the Health and Safety Management Program to
guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality services and a responsible
environmental attitude.
- Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all
- Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to
Crisis Mana ement and Business Continuit in order to continue mission critical activities.

**Activity: People Management**
- Manage the effective achievement of the organization's objectives by setting individual targets, developing and
motivating staff, supplying formal and informal feedback and appraisal to maximize subordinate and department
performance.
- Contribute to the development of UAE National employees in a manner which supports the objectives of the
corporation and its Emiratization strategy.
- Contribute to knowledge dissemination/sharing in a way that assists with building the capabilities of mentees
where applicable and maximize their effective performance.

**Activity: Excellence and Quality Management**
- Ensure commitment to a culture of continuous improvement by eliminating waste, following operations procedures,
practicing innovation, problem solving, and teamwork; complying with Quality Management System policies and
procedures; providing and receiving constructive feedback, and striving to meet quality standards and stakeholder
expectations.

**Skills**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Science orEngineering.
7 years of relevant experience
- Understands safety culture
- Understands the level of responsibility and requirements for safe operation of a nuclear (Including English Proficiency)facility.
- Understands nuclear power plant design and operation.
