Joinery Helper

Joinery helpers assist skilled joiners in various woodworking tasks within a workshop or construction site. They support the production of wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures by performing preparatory work, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Material Preparation**:

- Assist in preparing materials such as wood, plywood, and other necessary components for joinery projects.
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications provided by the joiner.
- **Assembly Assistance**:

- Aid in the assembly of wooden structures, furniture pieces, and fixtures under the guidance of skilled joiners.
- Assist in the installation of joinery components, including hinges, handles, and fittings.
- **Tool Maintenance**:

- Keep tools and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of tools as needed.
- **Worksite Support**:

- Help set up and dismantle work areas, scaffolding, and temporary structures as required for joinery projects.
- Ensure a safe and tidy work environment by cleaning up debris, sweeping floors, and disposing of waste materials properly.
- **Learning and Development**:

- Learn and develop basic woodworking skills under the supervision of experienced joiners.
- Follow instructions carefully and ask questions to enhance understanding and proficiency in joinery techniques.

Pay: From AED1,200.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sharjah: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
