**Job Description: Female Garment Purchaser for Hypermarket**

**Position Overview**:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Female Garment Purchaser to join our hypermarket's merchandising team. As a Garment Purchaser, you will be responsible for selecting, sourcing, and procuring a wide range of clothing and apparel products that align with our hypermarket's target market and customer preferences. Your keen fashion sense, negotiation skills, and ability to stay updated on industry trends will contribute to the success of our clothing department.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop a comprehensive clothing and apparel procurement strategy that meets sales goals and customer preferences.
- Research current fashion trends, market demands, and customer preferences to curate a diverse and appealing collection of garments for our hypermarket.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clothing suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure a consistent and high-quality supply of products.
- Analyze market data, sales reports, and customer feedback to make informed decisions about product selection, pricing, and quantities.
- Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and competitive pricing while maintaining product quality.
- Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and product turnover to identify slow-moving or fast-selling items and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Stay informed about industry developments, new fashion trends, and emerging brands to keep our product offerings fresh and appealing.
- Collaborate with visual merchandisers and marketing teams to create visually appealing displays and promotional campaigns that highlight the garment collection.
- Work closely with the logistics and inventory teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, resolve any supply chain issues, and manage returns and exchanges.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and supplier meetings to build and expand the network of clothing suppliers and stay up-to-date with the latest market trends.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience 5 years in garment purchasing, retail buying, or fashion merchandising.
- Deep understanding of fashion trends, styles, and customer preferences.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Organized and detail-oriented approach to managing product inventory and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in using software and tools related to inventory management and purchasing.
- Creative thinking and an eye for design to curate an attractive and diverse garment collection.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate with various departments.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month
