Looking for a Junior Accountant to Join our Finance team.

Overview: As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance and accounting team by assisting in various financial tasks and ensuring accurate and timely financial record-keeping. You will work closely with senior accountants and other team members to maintain financial integrity and compliance within the organization. **Responsibilities**:
Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, verifying expenses, and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

General Ledger Management: Help with the preparation of journal entries and ensure they are accurately recorded in the general ledger.

Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements with the company's financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Expense Management: Help monitor and control expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Tax Compliance: Assist in gathering necessary documentation for tax filings and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Audit Support: Participate in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during the audit process.

Financial Analysis: Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations. Maintain proper documentation for all financial activities.

Process Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting procedures.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and foster a positive working environment.

**Requirements**:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.

Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar).

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment.

Ethics: High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.

Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing requirements and responsibilities.

**Salary**: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
