**Key Responsibilities**:

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and professionals, ensuring a high level of performance, motivation, and skill development.
- Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, schedules, and procedures to optimize the performance of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance department's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of service.
- Asset Management: Maintain an accurate record of all assets, equipment, and machinery, and implement a preventive maintenance program to extend their lifespan and reduce breakdowns.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers for maintenance services, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of parts and services.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering and 7+ years' experience in maintenance in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment of which 3+ years should be in a managerial position.
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering and 10+ years' experience in maintenance in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment of which 5+ years should be in a managerial position.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of maintenance processes and best practices.
- A recognized trade in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering and 15+ years' experience in maintenance in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment of which 7+ years should be in a managerial position.
- Previous packaging or bagging experience or experience obtained in a bagging and packaging or FMCG environment is preferred.
- Must possess good communication skills - written and oral, with the ability to manage

multiple projects simultaneously and to effectively interface with others.
- Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team.
- Demonstrate proficiency in both oral and written communication in English.
- Working knowledge of computers, SAP, and all Microsoft packages.
