Are you looking for an opportunity where you can manage, develop, challenge, and optimize the demand planning process? If yes, you could be our new Demand Planner to be based in our UAE office and will report to the Demand Planning Manager - UAE.

As the new Junior Demand Planner you will develops/updates forecasts across the S&OP horizon, working in partnership with Sales, Marketing and other Planning functions.

**Your key tasks include**:

- Create statistical forecasts by analyzing historical sales data and future orders.
- Creating short
- and long-term forecast by collaborating with channel category (sales & marketing) for input to build a consensus forecast.
- Analyze relevant data sources to gain insight to help shape future demand forecast.
- Support analytical tasks to optimize performance of forecast accuracy.
- Updating promotion forecasts based on input from customers and/or business units.
- Close collaboration with supply chain colleagues to ensure a high delivery accuracy and deliver timely and effective communication throughout the business.

Liaises with functional, operational managers and colleagues (e.g. in sales, marketing, finance, supply and logistics) to ensure that demand planning activities are integrated and aligned with other parts of the business.

**Solid background in planning and forecasting**

Have a Bachelors’ degree level within Supply Chain Management or Economics with a solid background and 2-4 years of supply chain experience. You have the Quantitative and analytical skills and can work with a broad set of data and make confident recommendations. You should be able to work across functions in a multicultural environment and be a team player that fosters optimism and collaboration.

**Success as a Demand Planner Looks like**:
You are able to ensure a robust and unbiased forecast to enable a high delivery accuracy. Along with that you maintain an up-to-date forecast with the latest available information in a timely manner to enable data driven decisions. Identifying gaps between forecast and sales and the reason behind to contribute to the continuous improvement of the demand planning process is one of your key strength.
