Nespresso UAE is looking to hire Demand & Supply Planners, who will be responsible to build a demand forecast by SKU based on the sales history and including the effect of the Sales & Marketing Action Plan, in accordance with Company Policy. they will perform the Supply Planning activities such as ensuring stock covers are within target, seamless transfer of the products/goods and ensure goods are received timely and accurately. They will need to ensure that the interface between the various areas and departments take place to ensure improved customer service and minimize costs. They will also actively contribute to the integrated process of Supply Chain.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE **

**Ensure Demand Plan Accuracy**:

- Maintain updated activity overview properly timed and quantified from inputs received from boutiques, trade, marketing, B2B And Club
- Ensure the level of detail needed for decision making on these issues and maintain an accurate picture in the system and tracking files.
- Check the forecast consistency with the objectives of the company and consolidate information at the level of aggregation and time horizon necessary to ensure adequate information to their users.
- Review periodic indicator of sales forecast and demand accuracy as calculated by HQ DSP governance to trigger corrective actions towards continuous improvement of performance.
- Work closely with business, finance, marketing, and consumer relationship management team to challenge the figures and insure a full consensus on figures.

**Manage portfolio and life cycle to optimize inventory levels**:

- Establish effective launch planning processes and phase out programs.
- Follow closely overstocks and slow movers and take corrective action with the business to optimize working capital.
- Define and put in place the business effective action
- plan to deplete phase out SKUs and promotion leftovers.

**Ensure stock availability with a good supply planning process**:

- Ensure all incoming goods have required PO in advance of its arrival.
- Follow receiving with the 3 PL and investigate differences. Report variances using the Logistics Complaint Tool.
- Maintain a record of all incoming shipments using the Import Log and update with customs broker invoices for services.
- Manage backorder situation and develop recovery plans with suppliers, as well as execute and improve.
- Shortage allocation policies to optimize service to customers.
- Calculate quantities to transfer to forward DC for his/her scope of product and work closely with others - Demand & Supply Planners, Physical Logistics, and transport teams to optimize the load and decide priorities.

**Coordinate with the 3PL production activities**:

- Establish net requirement that need to be produced based on forecasts and work with the logistics team to have it produced by our 3PL.
- Participate to the weekly production meeting with our 3PL.

**Process Improvement, Calculation of KPIs & Compliance**:

- Leverage efficient planning to ensure availability of goods and services as a key competitive advantage.
- Detect and propose opportunities for improvement to contribute the maximization of the area.
- Participate in or lead improvements of planning and Supply Chain performance and cost saving initiatives.
- Ensure that KPIs are done on time, updated monthly, and communicated.
- Ensure compliance to all principles: Corporate business principles, procurement policies, health and safety, internal control standards and quality requirements.

**What will make you successful**
- ** Education**:
University Degree or equivalent; preferably with a specialization in Supply Chain/Logistics.
- ** Experience**:
+5 Years experience of having worked in a similar capacity retail environment within an international company would be an advantage (Logistics, distribution, procurement), with Atleast 3 years within planning.
- ** Languages**:
English and Arabic would be a plus.
- ** Technical**:
Microsoft Office

Experience with ERP
