**Job description**

As a coatings chemist, you research and develop advanced materials and formulations for industrial and commercial use. Your duties and responsibilities may shift somewhat depending on the needs of your employer,. You oversee the development of these materials in a Factory setting, In all cases, you strive to produce coating technologies with low environmental impact, utilizing recycled and recyclable materials whenever possible.

**Job Purpose**:
The Formulation Chemist position is responsible for performing technical development and formulation of paint systems to support the achievement of the company's business goals and objectives.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Collaboratively work with the technical team to design, plan, and conduct projects developing and improving new paint systems.
- Provide support for factory scale up.
- Develop understanding of technical challenges and develop solutions to overcome problems.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work area.
- Must comply with all safety and regulatory policies.

Educational Requirements: Bsc chemistry

Experience : 1 to 3 years in adhesive or paint industry

Job Location : Dubai/ Umm al Quwain

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
