Gypsum Carpenter

**Job Title: Gypsum carpenter/painter**

**Responsibilities**:

- Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisor.
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc. and following technical drawings.
- Maintenance works for the gypsum board; cement sheet works with final finishing works.
- Knowledge about gypsum board sizes & frames, also painting codes.
- Checking measurements for proper alignments & ordering all supplies needed for the project.
- Completing projects within the specified timeline.
- Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g., gypsum stucco applying, filler use as per standard, chemical applying) and hand tools.
- Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture.
- Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in residential remodeling and construction as
- Experience working in diverse teams.
- Respect for the ancient traditions of the profession.
- Previous experience of working in a maintenance field as a gypsum carpenter and painting worker.
- Ability to carry heavy objects and work in UAE weather conditions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and lead other members of the team.
- A willingness to always follow safety guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills.

**Salary**: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fujairah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
