**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Prepare and cook** a variety of grilled dishes, including seafood, meats, and vegetables, using traditional robata grilling techniques.
- **Ensure high standards of food presentation** and plating, maintaining consistency and creativity in all dishes.
- **Maintain and manage the robata grill** and its equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- **Monitor food quality and freshness,** particularly the preparation of ingredients like fish, meat, and vegetables.
- **Collaborate with the Head Chef** and kitchen team to develop and enhance the robata menu, focusing on authentic flavors and seasonal ingredients.
- **Ensure hygiene and cleanliness** of the grilling station in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- **Train and mentor junior kitchen staff** in robata techniques, ensuring team growth and skill development.
- **Control food waste** and work efficiently to optimize costs while maintaining food quality.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a **Robata Chef** or in a similar role within a Japanese or fine dining establishment.
- Strong knowledge of **Japanese cuisine** and robata grilling techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with **food safety and sanitation guidelines**.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Culinary certification or formal training in **Japanese cuisine** is a plus.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
