Responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and diagrams for various ELV systems and components. The primary focus is on ELV layouts, schematics, and plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations (I.e. ADMCC, SIRA, Hemaya etc.), and project specifications.

**Essential Duties - Roles & Responsibilities**

1. Develop highly detailed and complex technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for ELV systems. These include security systems, structured cabling, audio-visual setups, fire alarm systems, access control, and more.

2. Take a lead role in overseeing the drafting process for ELV projects. Coordinate with junior draftsmen, designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings.

3. Interpret intricate design concepts and technical documents, translating them into accurate and comprehensive drawings that adhere to industry standards and regulations.

4. Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications and applicable codes. Ensure the quality of drawings produced by the drafting team.

5. Ensure that all drawings and designs adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing ELV systems, safety protocols, and industry best practices.

6. Collaborate closely with ELV engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and integration of design elements.

7. Maintain accurate records of revisions, changes, and versions of drawings. Document design decisions and modifications throughout the project lifecycle.

8. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to ELV systems and drafting.

**Education**

1. Bachelor's degree in fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or Civil Engineering.

**Experience**

1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in ELV drafting using AutoCAD or similar software.

2. Minimum 4 years’ experience in civil drafting using AutoCAD.

3. Demonstrated expertise in using AutoCAD for creating drawings, including layouts, schematics, and detailed diagrams

**Skills**

1. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of ELV systems, including their components, specifications, installation methods, and integration with other systems.

2. Good Understanding of ELV principles and terminology.

3. Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software is essential.

4. Precision is crucial in technical drawings

5. Basic understanding of relevant technical areas such as engineering principles, construction phases, architectural concepts.

**Preferred Certificates and Licenses**

1. AutoCAD Electrical preferred.

2. AutoCAD 2D minimum.
