Female Sonographer

DCDC is a leading diagnostic radiology and multispeciality clinic in Dubai Healthcare City.

We'd love to hear from you if:

- You have Bachelors in sonography
- You are Female Sonographer with sonography experience and HAAD
- You have a strong background in sonography antenatal pregnancy scans, dobbler scans
- You have 3 to 10 years of strong experience in sonography
- You are holding any DHA license, HAAD Pass preferred
- You reside in Dubai
- You have a track record of trying and learning new things

**Duties**:

- Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the use of highly specialised ultrasound equipment.
- Perform high quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations to aid appropriate / necessary patient management while working autonomously within guidelines.
- Effectively communicate information regarding diagnosis from scan findings verbally and in writing directly to clinicians and/or patients.
- Interpret ultrasound images, accurately differentiating between normal and pathological findings.
- Utilize the diagnostic center's EMR system to record patient data, medical record and information.
- Always maintain patient dignity, particularly whilst performing examinations of an intimate nature.
- Perform duties without supervision.
- Ensure patients receive timely and accurate information about their examination, and ensure urgent findings are communicated in the appropriate way to referrers.
- Assess and manage own workload of patients, communicate work priorities, organizing workload in conjunction with other team members.
- When necessary, assists colleagues and performs x-rays (after appropriate training is given and competency agreed).
- To ensure that all equipment is free from damage and wear and tear by employing appropriate equipment handling.
- Responsible for the safe use and maintenance of imaging equipment, reporting faults to senior staff or directly to the manufacturer.

**Qualifications**
- **Bachelor degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Sonography (Minimum three (3) years program)**:

- **Experience as a sonographer in Dubai is an asset**:

- **Post primary Certificate or Diploma degree (Minimum twelve (12) months course duration) in Diagnostic Ultrasound**:

- **Minimum of two (2) years’ experience post qualification in related field**

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- sonographer: 2 years (preferred)
- radiographer: 2 years (preferred)
- X-ray radiographer: 1 year (preferred)
