Nursery Vice Principle

Promotes Jack and Jill Nursery Vision, Mission and Values.

2. Establish good relationships and communication with parents, students, and staff.

3. Participate in administrative decision making processes under the guidance of the GM.

4. Approve communication with parents and the wider community as authorized by the GM.

5. Maintain a visible presence in the nursery and an open-door policy for students, staff and parents.

6. Promote teamwork and cooperation among staff and fosters a positive working environment based on respect and professionalism.

7. Communicate J&J Nursery, ADEK policies and procedures to parents, students, and staff.

8. Ensure that all students abide by the Nursery rules and regulations.

9. Assist the GM with ADEK correspondence. Represent the at ADEK meetings and training sessions as assigned by the GM.

10. Represent the Nursery and acts as a parent and community liaison.

11. Meet with parents to listen to their requests, concerns, suggestions and complaints and establish good relations with them.

12. Take responsibility for the continuing inspections from ADEK (or other accrediting bodies).

13. Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff. Ensures that all positions in the Nursery are filled with highly qualified and capable employees who can add value to Jack and Jill Nursery.

14. Makes regular tours of the Nursery to check for health safety and operations.

15. Ensure that the Nursery offers an effective program of academic, athletic and cultural activities.

16. Reinforce and Jill Nursery staff policies, job descriptions and staff code of ethics. Ensures that teachers are following the Teacher Handbook regulations and regulations are understood and implemented by all staff.

17. Confer with staff individually to bring any policy violations to their attention. Deal with infractions appropriately and in a timely manner. Provide coaching and guidance to ensure future with Jack and Jill Nursery

18. Serve as a member of Disciplinary, OSH, Nursery Development and Complaints Committees.

19. Serve as the acting GM and carries out all of the GM’s duties in case of absence.

20. Prepares the ADEK and all related inspection reports and requirements as related to ADEK standards. Participate in the formulation and implementation.

22. Lead, mentor and support the academic teaching staff.
