**Job Overview**:
**Core Responsibilities**:

- **Routine Maintenance**: Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the school's facilities are safe and operational, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, fixtures, fire alarms, and fire extinguishers.
- **Inventory Management**: Maintain inventory levels of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for maintenance tasks. Order supplies as needed and ensure proper storage and organization.
- **Repairs and Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and repair equipment and structural issues promptly to minimize disruption to school activities. Implement effective solutions efficiently.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others. Conduct maintenance tasks in accordance with safety guidelines.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management. Document work performed and equipment maintenance schedules.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies such as plumbing leaks, electrical outages, or structural damage. Take appropriate actions to resolve emergencies efficiently.
- **Inventory Control**: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels for tools, equipment, and materials. Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available for scheduled tasks.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role.
- Strong technical skills in various trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, and familiarity with fire alarm systems.
- Experience inspecting and maintaining fire extinguishers to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory efficiently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and familiarity with local traffic laws and routes.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor tasks.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Certification or training in relevant trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical) is a plus.
- Experience working collaboratively with project managers for fit-outs, demonstrating the ability to coordinate tasks and contribute effectively to larger projects.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: AED5,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
