**Job Title: Chapati Maker**

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chapati Maker to join a kitchen team. As a Chapati Maker, you will be responsible for efficiently preparing and cooking chapatis to meet our customers' expectations. Your attention to detail and ability to follow recipes will contribute to the quality and consistency of our chapatis.

**Responsibilities**:
**Chapati Preparation**:

- Prepare the chapati dough by mixing wheat flour, water, and salt following the provided recipe or as instructed by the chef.
- Knead the dough until it reaches the desired soft and pliable consistency.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll them into round, flat shapes using a rolling pin.

**Operating the Chapati Maker**:

- Preheat the chapati maker and set it to the appropriate temperature as instructed.
- Place the rolled chapati on the lower plate of the chapati maker and gently close the top plate over it.
- Monitor the cooking process to ensure even cooking and prevent overcooking or burning.
- Flip the chapati using appropriate tools to cook the other side until it has a golden-brown color.

**Quality Control**:

- Pay close attention to the chapati's appearance, ensuring it puffs up properly and develops desirable brown spots.
- Maintain consistent quality by adhering to standard cooking procedures and portion sizes.
- Check for any imperfections or irregularities in the chapatis and take corrective actions as needed.

**Cleanliness and Hygiene**:

- Keep the chapati maker and surrounding work area clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to proper hygiene and sanitation practices to ensure food safety.
- Wash and sanitize cooking utensils, equipment, and work surfaces regularly.

**Time Management**:

- Work efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours.
- Prepare chapatis in a timely manner to avoid delays in food service.

**Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with other kitchen staff and communicate effectively to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Assist in other food preparation tasks when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Chapati Maker or similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of chapati preparation and cooking techniques is a plus.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality chapatis.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.

**Salary**: From AED2,000.00 per month
