Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Expeditor with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry to work on ADNOC Onshore project, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
- Review and supervise expediting of purchase orders to ensure that they are delivered/ready for collection within project schedule/purchase order terms.
- Assistance into the creations of expediting reports in materials management system.
- Assist to manage the expediting process of FEED/EPC Contractor’s procurement activities
- Continuous expediting of purchase orders and relevant procurement activities pertaining to FEED/EPC Contractor.
- Understands the supplier delivery obligations form the terms and conditions of purchase
- Ability to interpret supplier production plans to identify improvement opportunities and negotiate delivery improvements
- Updating of materials management system with the expediting status of Purchase Orders.
- Continually set expediting follow up dates in materials management system.
- Issue expediting progress reports and update system accordingly.
- Notifying Procurement / Supply Chain Lead of any potential schedule slippages.
- Maintain an auditable file of all relevant expediting documentation for each purchase order in relevant shared drive / area.
- Demonstrate commitment to safe working practices.
- Understands and aware of ADNOC Onshore Standards & Procedures
- Participates into expediting the delivery of procured items, production progress and shipment schedules
- Qualified to ISCED Level 4/5 (Post-Secondary non-tertiary/Short-Cycle tertiary)
**Knowledge, skills and experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering (i.e. Mechanical/ Electrical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical. IT, Computer, Software, Electronic, etc.) or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of ten (10+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry including five (5) years (preferred) in GCC Region
- Detailed knowledge of Suppliers and Expediting Status Reporting.
- Awareness of ADNOC Group Standards & Procedures
- Previous experience in similar roles of expediting within Oil & Gas EPC projects
- Awareness of supplier production schedules
- Understanding of how terms and conditions of purchase influence delivery requirements
- Previous use of ERP’s such as Maximo, Oracle, SAP.
