**Principal Accountabilities**:
1) The supervisor shall be responsible for control of all diving operations or the team and shall be responsible for meeting the needs of the contract.

2) The supervisor is responsible for the safety of all divers during the diving operations.

3) Supervisor must check the qualification of all divers that join his team.

4) The supervisor must check that he has sufficient team of divers & supporting personal in order to meet the contract requirements.

5) The supervisor shall organize and allocate the duties of the diving crew, he shall explain the tasks required to be carried out underwater and the tools to be utilized.

6) The supervisor shall conduct tool box & safety meetings with the divers prior to commencing diving operations with the attendance of the ADNOC Representative.

7) The supervisor shall report to & consult with the ADNOC Representative to establish the requirements for the diving operation and what tasks need to be carried out.

8) The supervisor shall be responsible for the proper maintenances operation of diving equipment & gear. This includes the availability of adequate gas mixtures for and foreseeable emergency conditions.

9) The supervisor is responsible for deciding when the diving operation is safe to commence, suspend or stop all diving operations due to safety.

10) In the event of divers showing symptoms of decompression sickness, the supervisor shall be responsible for instituting therapeutic recompression in accordance with the appropriate table, obtaining medical advice or assistance. Supervisor shall determine if the sickness requires the vessel to sail to Abu Dhabi for specialized hyperbaric medical attention for the diver.

11) Diving Supervisor is responsible of Umbilical length calculation and Umbilical management during diving operation

12) The supervisor is responsible for all accurate recordings of all dives and proper recording of the maintenance and testing of diving equipment.

13) If the supervisor is incapacitated, his duties shall be undertaken by his nominated deputy.

14) Maintain a supervisor's logbook, which details projects, dives, medical examinations, and training courses taken.

15) Ensure diving operations are performed from a suitable and safe location on the surface, and in compliance with any permit to work system.

16) Assign the duties of all members of the dive team and personally direct them throughout the diving operation.

17) Ensure that the diving equipment designated for use is:

- Suitable for the planned diving operation.
- Inspected prior to each dive and in good working order.
- Ensure that all personnel engaged in or concerned with the diving operations under his authority comply with the requirements of Safeen Subsea policies and/or any other regulations that apply.

**Operating Environment**:

- The job holder plays a pivotal role in the offshore activities of the diving team.
- Responsible for the safe & efficient conduct of diving operations and proper maintenance of diving equipment.

**Communications and working Relationships**:
The job holder will be:

- Report directly to the Diving Superintendent.
- Liaise with offshore barge masters, clients and Diving Operations Manager.
- Communicate with Dive Supervisors, divers, marine personnel and deck crew.

**Framework, Boundaries, Decision Making Authority and Responsibility**:

- Operate within the boundaries set by Company procedures, IMCA codes of practice and work standards.
- Be aware of current legislation, guidance, and Company safety management.

**Knowledge Skills and Experience**:
i. Experience as a supervisor after obtaining supervisor IMCA ticket in diving inspection & maintenance activities, should also be familiar with reporting system and expected to have undertaken basic leadership training.

ii. Current & valid IMCA Air Diving Supervisor certificate.

iii. Current & valid offshore medical certificate.

iv. Current & valid offshore survival valid certificate.

v. Good English communication skills.

vi. Must be proficient with IMCA code of practice and work standards.

vii. Must be able to work in a team and a remote environment.
