Filipino Cook

**Location: China Sea Restaurant (Near Deira Clock Tower, Dubai)**

**Role Description**:
We are currently looking for a Filipino Cook to join our F&B team who has the ability to deliver extraordinary levels of food quality to our guests.

Ultimately, you’ll ensure all restaurant operations run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following the set Standards of Performance.
- Responsible for his part of the food production schedule as assigned by the Chef.
- Receive from stores ingredients required for the daily production.
- Work in all areas of production including hot or cold kitchen as required.
- Help in the packing of food for locations or placing the menu items in the service areas.
- Follow all food safety policies and procedures to ensure the safe production of food.
- Ensure the correct use of equipment at all times
- Report equipment breakdown or failure to the chef.
- Ensure his work station is kept clean as per the cleaning schedules.
- Actively works with chefs to increase his knowledge and expertise in all areas of production.
- Attend and participates in training sessions as required.
- Perform other functions that may be assigned from time to time
- Performs all duties and tasks in the assigned Place of Work to the standard set.
- Ensures that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.
- Monitors operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.

**Requirements and skills**:

- At least 2 years work experience in the same role
- Proficient in cooking **Filipino** cuisine
- Knowledge of Food Safety regulations
- A multi-tasker with good time management skills
- Flexible and friendly personality

**Terms and Conditions**:

- Staff meals provided by the company
- Health and medical insurance as per regulations

**Salary**: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
