**Job Description**:
+ Serve as the field/project point of contact for Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) matters at AECOM.
+ Assist in identifying and implementing SH&E requirements, ensuring alignment with local regulations, project specifications, and AECOM's business standards.
+ Function as the on-site/project SH&E liaison, overseeing compliance and stakeholder alignment.
+ Conduct daily inspections of contractor activities, ensuring adherence to SH&E policies, plans, and contractual obligations.
+ Perform visual inspections, document and communicate issues, and facilitate prompt resolution through the project reporting system.
+ Coordinate and actively participate in SH&E meetings, including potential chairing and record-keeping responsibilities.
+ Submit comprehensive safety inspection reports to the Resident Engineer and/or project leads, seeking necessary support.
+ Review and assess risk mitigation documentation, including plans, procedures, Safe Work Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
+ Validate SH&E requirements in contractor-submitted documentation, ensuring consistency with safe work methodologies.
+ Monitor the proper maintenance, calibration, and operation of safety equipment on-site.
+ Ensure the provision and maintenance of site security, fire safety, first aid, and welfare facilities.
+ Assist in investigating incidents and near misses, following client and AECOM procedures, and implementing preventive measures.
+ Provide regular reports to Project and SH&E Leads on project status and compliance.
+ Attend relevant training sessions, including risk assessment training, and seek additional training as needed.
**Qualifications**:
+ Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
+ NEBOSH GC and/or equivalent certification preferred.
+ Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Safety, Health & Environment.
+ As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
