Basic purpose of the role:
As a part of this challenging role, you will specifically be responsible for:

- Strengthen TAQA Group OT/ICS system/network designs, work procedures and maintenance instructions to ensure the alignment with all governmental and cyber security standards.
- Provide the required support to all TAQA Regions to understand TAQA strategic direction with regards to OT cyber security.
- Provide professional and hands-on technical support to all TAQA Regions for incident response and align/coordinate with all government bodies as required.
- Take a technical lead in engaging with all TAQA Regional Operations and Maintenance groups to help support OT cyber security.
- Provide professional and hands-on expertise for all identified cyber security improvement initiatives with TAQA Group OT/ICS systems.
- Provide technical expertise in establishing a set of Policies, Standards and Guidelines to ensure the quality and security of infrastructure services within TAQA Group.
- Establish and benchmark KPI and metrics for OT/ICS infrastructure management, and Site report into the TAQA Group Cyber Security.
- Implement the mitigation measures and improvement solutions for the following processes to support TAQA Group Operational Technology (OT) / Industrial Control System (ICS) systems: Assets inventory maintenance, Vulnerability and patch management, Security devices and systems operation.
- OT/ICS Network record management systems for TAQA Group.
- Play a strategic role for the OT/ICS Cyber Security Operations and successfully link the Site teams providing a channel for effective knowledge transfer and support.
- Responsible for instigating cyber security reviews on Assets and guiding identified improvement areas.
- Regular Site presence at all assets to ensure strategic direction is maintained.
- Deliver the installation of an advanced security network monitoring platform and support day-to-day operations for system support for such platforms.
- Create Monthly and Quarterly Internal Executive reports.

Must have experience and knowledge in most of the below technologies:

- Experience in major OT vendors control systems including GE, ABB, Siemens, Yokogawa and Invensys.
- Health and Safety embedded into all work practices.
- Experience in multiple utility sectors focused on OT security and OT system management.
- Microsoft technologies including but not limited to Windows, Active Directory, Virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Security technologies such as TCP/IP networking, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, network security monitoring.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or another quantitative field.
- Minimum of 10+ years’ relevant experience or working in a large-scale ICS/OT environment with focus on Information/Cyber Security.
- Strong Oil &Gas, Power, heavy Manufacturing/Engineering industry experience.
- Ability to create relationships and engage with other business groups and business Regions collaboratively, to ensure continuous improvement in Cyber Security.
- Technical specialization in producing and reviewing OT infrastructure documentations, including network diagram and server configuration.
- Strong analytical, technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and demanding work environment.
- Strong Leadership, relationship building and coaching skills.
