Position: Consultant Hematologist Company: Conglomerate Healthcare Location: Middle East

Responsibilities: As a Consultant Hematologist, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting comprehensive consultations, examinations, and assessments of patients with hematological disorders, including various blood and bone marrow conditions.
- Ordering and interpreting relevant diagnostic tests, such as complete blood counts, coagulation studies, and bone marrow biopsies, to aid in the accurate diagnosis and planning of hematological treatments.
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans for patients with hematological conditions, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and stem cell transplantation.
- Providing patient education and support, explaining treatment options, potential risks, and expected outcomes, as well as offering guidance on managing hematological disorders and side effects of treatments.
- Collaborating with other medical specialists, such as oncologists, radiologists, and transplant surgeons, to ensure comprehensive patient care and address multi-disciplinary aspects of hematology.
- Conducting follow-up appointments to monitor the progress of hematological treatments, addressing any concerns or complications, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Actively participating in clinical research studies related to hematology, contributing to academic publications, and presenting findings at conferences to advance the field.
- Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff, including residents and fellows, fostering a positive learning and professional environment.
- Adhering to ethical and legal standards in patient care, ensuring confidentiality, informed consent, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:
Minimum Qualifications:

- Australia: FRACP (Hematology)
- Ireland: MRCP (Hematology)
- Canada: FRCPC (Hematology)
- UK: CCT / CESR (Hematology)
- USA: American Board Certification (Hematology)
- Germany: German Board / Facharzt (Hematology)
- Italy: Italian Board / Specialization Certificate (Hematology)
- Sweden: Swedish Board / Specialization Certificate (Hematology)
- France: DES / DESC (same JD for hematology) 3-5 years' experience post-specialty. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. Fluency in written and spoken English.
