Responsible for loading the die and tooling in Oven for preheating and into the cassette for Extrusion.
- Load cold dies to the die oven as per supervisor’s instruction.
- Enter the Die no in Die oven in EMS.
- Arrange corresponding bolster/ Insert bolster and sub bolster from the storage area with reference to the drawing or as per supervisor’s instruction for the Dies to be loaded in the press.
- Remove the Die from cassette and make sure that the Die and support tooling are loaded into the cassette before completion of last billet of running Die
- Guide the profile till puller and mark the nose pc of 1st billet of each die, separate the cavities horizontally and vertically.
- Take sample on second billet and after every 7 billets for ASCONA measurement and surface verification.
- Prepare the sample for ASCONA measurement and paint the sample for surface quality verification.
- Lubricate die face, container, shear blade and fixed dummy block as and when instructed by Supervisor/Press operator. Assist the stretching operator and cutting crew whenever required. Keep the cassette clean and tidy all the time
- Follow any additional or special instruction from the supervisor.
- Keep the measured Ascona samples, marked nose pc and samples of failure dies in proper place
Keep the work area clean and tidy and maintain proper housekeeping in Press area
**Experience**:
- Die loader: 3 years (required)
