**Your Role and Responsibilities**
As a Business Sales & Delivery Executive, you will support IBM Consulting’s growth by bringing industry expertise, sales and business acumen, account management skills as well as extensive delivery experience. **Your Role and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for ongoing identification, development and assessment of client business opportunities selected based on proactive market screening, targeting and business analysis in the Banking & Financial Markets (BFM) Sector.
- Develop strategy for clients’ needs and advise clients regarding strategic direction, strategic initiatives and roadmap for digital transformation in the BFM Sector
- Drive new opportunities from sales inception, solution design and participation in client delivery engagements
- Lead end-to-end solutioning for large/complex services opportunities working closely with Account Partners and Service Line teams
- Lead initial high-value consulting engagements and/or large complex BFM transformation programs
- Execution of the IBM BFM Sector business strategy plus participation in the strategy creation for the Middle East & Africa (MEA) market
- Develop executive and senior management relationships with clients and provide executive level BFM domain expertise
- Own the opportunity and work closely with other teams across IBM and key ecosystem Partners in the market
- Facilitate the transition to project delivery teams and remain involved during delivery engagement
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in the Banking & Financial Markets (BFM) Sector, either as consultant or in a senior position at a financial institution
- Demonstrated leadership experience (5+ years) from advisory or technology consulting
- Demonstrated sales leadership in a global matrix environment, ability to lead through influence
- Consultative sales approach with a strong business development performance track record, including complex system integration
- Strong experience as well as interest in current IT market trends, including Cloud (Hybrid/Public) Architecture, Analytics/AI, Automation, Digital Transformation, Open Banking/API’s, Payments Modernization/Instant Payments, Core Banking Transformation
- Extensive domain experience as well as an active C-suite personal network in the Middle East BFM market (G&L, Saudi Arabia, Egypt)
- Strategic mind and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal/written communication skills (English)
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- BFM Industry thought leadership
- Proven ability to develop profitable new businesses and shape value-led business propositions in BFM sector
- Experience from global/offshore IT delivery (sales & delivery)
- Experience from a senior position in a financial institution in the MEA region
- Relevant BFM ISV relationships (local or global) and knowledge in building/develop strategic partnerships
- Knowledge of local/regional BFM industry regulatory frameworks
- Banking IT/Enterprise architecture experience
- Knowledge or experience from working with IBM technology and solutions
- People Management/Leadership experience
