A. Master Mariner Certificate of competency (Foreign Going) (7 1/2 years post-secondary education).

B. 10 years post qualification marine construction experience, with service on tugs and tankers, of which at least 6 years in senior supervisory capacity, and 4 years specialist in rig towing or tanker pilotage or jack-up barge movements.

C. Familiarity with international safety codes like SOLAS / MODU etc., Knowledge of ADNOC Offshore marine and safety regulations or similar regulations of oil and gas operators in the Gulf / UAE.

D. Fluent in spoken and written English.
