**Arabic Tax Consultant - Dubai, U.A.E**

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct complete management of VAT, excise, and Corporate Tax compliance tasks for clients, ensuring precise and prompt tax return submissions.
- Offer specialized advice on VAT, Corporate Tax, transfer pricing, and excise tax issues, engaging and consulting with potential clients.
- Keep abreast of tax laws and regulations, including new filing procedures, deadlines, and any new tax regulations in the UAE.
- Possess a thorough understanding of environmental factors, such as changes in tax and governmental rules that may impact clients or their businesses, ensuring an effective tax system for accurate reporting.
- Advise clients in a range of different industries on various tax matters.
- Actively support Managers and Partners in marketing & business development efforts - eminence building initiatives, client meetings and negotiations, drafting proposals etc.;
- Write and review tax advice for the client.
- Handle multiple client engagements, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of service.
- Actively involved in developing and delivering innovative tax services.
- Manages teams of consultants, coaches more junior staff, delivers trainings to staff;
**Duties**:
**VAT**
- VAT Compliance and Filing: Ensure timely and accurate submission of VAT returns, managing all VAT compliance activities. Analyze transactions and ensure they are correctly classified according to VAT regulations.
- VAT Advisory: Provide expert advice on VAT matters, including VAT planning, registration, and de-registration activities. Offer solutions on VAT-related queries to minimize liabilities and support business decisions.
- Legislation and Changes: Monitor and interpret changes in VAT legislation, ensuring the organization's compliance. Communicate any changes and their implications to relevant stakeholders.
- Audit Support: Represent the company during VAT audits, preparing necessary documentation and explanations for auditors. Identify and mitigate potential VAT risks.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients to provide VAT consultancy services, including assessments and recommendations for VAT efficiency.

**Corporate Tax**
- Corporate Tax Compliance and Filing: Manage the preparation and filing of accurate corporate tax returns.
- Tax Advisory: Provide strategic advice on various corporate tax matters, including optimization strategies, efficient tax structure implementations, and the tax implications of business decisions.
- Mergers and Acquisitions: Advice on the tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Corporate Tax Registrations: Oversee the process of corporate tax registrations in the UAE.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Keep abreast of changes in corporate tax laws and regulations.

**Skills**:

- Taxation: Interpret and advise on tax laws (Federal Decree-Law No. (8) of 2017 on Value Added Tax and The Federal Decree-Law No. (47) of 2022 on the Taxation of Corporations and Businesses).
- Tax Planning: Advice on personalized tax strategies tailored to clients' objectives.
- Research: Stay updated on tax law changes and opportunities to minimize tax liabilities.
- Analysis: Simplify complex issues, providing clear and accurate tax advice.
- Communication: Effectively convey complex concepts to clients and colleagues.
- Organization: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
- Attention to Detail: Recognize nuances and errors to prevent significant client repercussions.

**Education & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Accounting or Tax from a reputable institution.
- Registered tax agent will be preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Tax Consultant in the UAE.
- Profound knowledge of UAE tax laws and compliance protocols.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Competency in managing complex database systems.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Experience dealing with FTA, VAT, Excise refund, audit cases, proficiency in tax preparation and financial analysis software, including Intuit QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel.
- In-depth understanding of UAE VAT regulations and local laws.
