DBS Emirates Hills Curriculum
Our curriculum is modelled on the National Curriculum for England and adapted to our own international context, leading to a challenging set of GCSE, BTEC and GCE A Level courses from Year 10 to Year 13. We feel the opportunities that students enjoy outside the classroom are just as important as the main curriculum and we offer an extensive and varied Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) programme.
Recruiting -Maternity Cover for Geography Teacher
At DBSEH, we are looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Outstanding Teachers. Our teachers are always experienced in teaching the National Curriculum for England in the UK ; with additional experience in an international setting considered an advantage.
Aside from experience, personality is very important, we look for inspirational teachers who leave a lasting impression on students for years to follow. Professional Requirements
- High Quality Degree in Subject area and PGCE, PGDE and/or QTS.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching the National Curriculum for England in the UK.
- An individual with confidence and a proven track record of outstanding results as
- GCSE and A' Level teaching experience - essential.
- Cleared Police and Safeguarding Background Checks*.

**How to apply**:
This is a temporary contract from September 2024. As this is a locally hired position, the school will not sponsor you for UAE residency purposes. You are required to have a valid UAE Residence Visa.

Our Curriculum

The curriculum at DBS is modelled on the National Curriculum for England, significantly enhanced by ‘Wow Learning’, the study of Arabic throughout and a challenging set of GCSE and GCE A Level courses from Year 10 to Year 13. We welcome a wide range of students to study a curriculum, which is designed to extend and excite all of them, whatever their interests or ability. The opportunities that students enjoy outside the classroom are just as important as the main curriculum and we offer an extensive and varied extra-curricular activities programme (ECA).
