Grafter (Live-in)

We are in need of a **Grafter**, to work for our **VIP Client in Al Ain**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare soil.
- Plant bulbs, seeds, and cuttings.
- Graft and bud plants and transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings.
- Monitor plants for healthy growth and potential weed, insect, disease, and fertilizer problems in greenhouse crops.
- Take care of farms and ensure that there is not theft of vegetables and fruits of farm.
- Plants, fertilizes, weeds, prunes, repots, waters, and mulches plants, shrubs, and trees in the nursery using hand and gardening tools.
- Inspects plants to assess quality and health and to identify signs of disease or pests.
- Propagates plants by gathering seeds and spores; oversees germination and stratification.
- Ensures plants are healthy and properly cared for.
- Maintains the inventory of nursery contents.
- Ensures the irrigation and climate control systems are working properly; performs basic maintenance and repairs.
- Maintains records for plants related to size, watering, feeding, and products used.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in horticulture
- 3 years' experience as a Grafter
- Good communication in English, Hindi, Arabic will be an added advantage.
- Have a general knowledge of plant biology, plant diseases and insects and the ability to recognize different species.
- Should enjoy working with nature, including working with flowers, plants, vegetables, and trees

**Salary: AED1,300.00 - AED1,500.00 per month**
