Draughtsman Diploma in relevant Engineering disciplines.

Proficient with software such as AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Nupas Cadmatic, Ship Constructor.

3-5 Years of relevant experience in the Marine Sector.

Experience in producing engineering drawings for Ships and Offshore structures. Conceptualization skills to visualize finished drawings and assigned projects.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks within assigned project and to meet required deadlines.

Responsible for creating and controlling engineering drawings for construction based on the specification, Client drawings, calculations, standards and written or verbal instructions provided by Structural and /or Outfitting Engineers.

Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by structural and /or outfitting engineers.

Prepare detailed production design. Produce production fabrication and installation drawings.

Prepare Bill of Materials, and Weight calculations. Inspect on-board vessel or assemblies for preparation, verification or improvement.

Responsible for making detailed structural outfitting and piping drawings for shipbuilding projects.
