**Job Overview: Laundry Attendant/Worker**

**Position Summary**: The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring the proper cleaning, care, and organization of linens, towels, uniforms, and other fabrics for the facility. The role involves operating laundry equipment, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the laundry area. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and service in hotels, hospitals, or other establishments where laundry services are essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Sort and classify linens and laundry according to type, color, fabric, and cleaning requirements.
- Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper placement of items to optimize cleaning and drying.
- Monitor the washing and drying processes to ensure that laundry is cleaned according to established standards.
- Fold, iron, and organize cleaned laundry for storage or distribution.
- Maintain the laundry area by keeping it clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies (detergents, cleaning agents, etc.).
- Report any malfunctions or issues with laundry equipment to management.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and maintaining personal protective equipment.
- Assist in inventory management, ensuring sufficient stock of linens and laundry supplies.
- Follow established protocols for handling delicate fabrics or specialized items (e.g., uniforms, high-end linens).
- Ensure confidentiality and care in handling personal laundry items, if applicable.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in laundry services or housekeeping is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of laundry machines, detergents, and stain removal techniques is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and reliability.

Pay: From AED1.00 per month
