**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervise Upholstery Team**: Lead and manage a team of upholsterers, ensuring efficiency and precision in all projects, from prototype to final installation.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure the highest level of craftsmanship, accuracy, and attention to detail in every vehicle interior, inspecting finished work for any defects or issues.
- **Design Interpretation**: Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other departments to interpret design specifications and customer preferences into flawless, high-quality interiors.
- **Material Management**: Oversee the selection, handling, and preparation of luxury materials (leather, suede, fabric, etc.), ensuring proper care and usage.
- **Production Schedule Management**: Manage daily operations, ensuring work is completed on time and in accordance with production deadlines.
- **Customer Satisfaction**: Maintain a close relationship with customers to ensure their preferences and specifications are met, addressing concerns and making recommendations as needed.
- **Training and Development**: Train new upholsterers and provide ongoing training to the team to enhance skills, knowledge, and craftsmanship.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Ensure that all upholstery processes are carried out safely and in compliance with workplace regulations.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other supervisors, designers, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of upholstery with other parts of the vehicle interior.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury car upholstery or a similar role in high-end automotive craftsmanship.
- **Leadership**: Proven experience in leading and supervising a team, with the ability to motivate, train, and ensure high-quality output.
- **Knowledge of Materials**: In-depth knowledge of luxury materials, including leather, suede, fabrics, and advanced upholstery techniques.
- **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional eye for detail, ensuring the finest finishes and flawless workmanship.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and customers effectively.
- **Problem Solving**: Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve challenges and unexpected issues in the production process.
- **Craftsmanship**: Hands-on ability in upholstery tasks such as stitching, trimming, pattern making, and fitting.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in using upholstery tools, machines, and other specialized equipment.
- **Aesthetic Sense**: High-level aesthetic sense to meet the standards of luxury vehicle manufacturers and discerning customers.
- **Education**: High school diploma required; relevant certifications or training in automotive upholstery or interior design preferred.
